Tonight we are having lasagna
for dinner.
This is our recipe:
Meat Sauce
1lb Ground
Beef
1 Onion
6 Cloves
of Garlic
1 pkg Strained Tomatoes
1 pkg Chopped Tomatoes
1t Onion
Salt
Italian Seasoning
Tomato Paste
Brown the ground beef. Remove from pan and set to the
side. Sauté the onions and
garlic in olive oil. When cooked
add the remaining ingredients.
Cheese Mixture
1 pkg Frozen Spinach (thawed, drained)
15 oz Ricotta Cheese
Parsley
Onion
Salt
Fresh
Parmesan Cheese
Mix all ingredients in a
bowl. The parsley, onion salt and
parmesan cheese amount is eyeballed.
The layers:
On the bottom cover the
baking dish with the lasagna noodles.
Then add meat sauce, a layer of thinly sliced zucchini, cheese mixture and
sprinkle fresh grated mozzarella cheese. Repeat for as many layers as you would like. We do two full layers. On the very top we just add meat
sauce. Bake in the oven covered at
350 degrees for 30 mins. Remove
foil and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Place back in over for 20 mins.
